Kwaluseni Alliance Church’s activities started informally when old ladies met together in a class at Kwaluseni Central primary school. This was due to the fact that the old ladies could not afford to travel to the nearest local assembly which was situated at Ngwane Park (Ngwane Park Alliance, which was then under Rev. M. Zwane).

Students who had come to do their studies at the university who belonged to the same denomination joined the old ladies. Soon, those who used to travel to Ngwane Park from around Matsapha also began to join the group. As they grew, filling the class, they sensed the need for a pastor. It was then that Pastor Richard Dlamini was identified and posted to this local assembly through the help of the church board on the 5th February, 1996. By then, the members had just moved into the school hall. Membership grew from less than a hundred to more than 400.

After years of prayer, seeking for a place to build a church centre, the church was eventually allocated a wonderful piece of land at Mbikwakhe. God strategically used Mr. Isaiah Dlamini (representative) who also happens to be responsible for development projects in the community, by then Indvuna Musa Dlamini and Bandlancane of Mbikwakhe Chiefdom. The place was officially given to Kwaluseni Alliance Church by then acting chief TV Mtsetfwa who deligated chairman of Zombodze Constituency.

A thousand seater marquee was bought and erected on the new premises early 2007. On the 4th March 2007, the church marched out of the school hall escorted not only by police but also by angels and CROSSED OVER to its “PROMISED LAND”.  What a day it was!!!!

Challenges have always been there, but since “greater is He who is in us……” we have always triumphed. Some members were not able to cross over. In the first few months attendance was quite low (+/- 350) compared to the over 600 attendees per Sunday in the previous meeting place. But that was soon to turn around. Attendance and membership is now steadily on the rise. God is restoring the years eaten by locusts.

We now have an average attendance of 850 per Sunday. To strengthen brotherly love and fellowship among members, home cells have been established where members meet on a weekly average basis.

We have various Ministries e.g., for Children, Men, Women and Youths. Click Here to read more.
